Insurance & Payment
Insurance
Serenity Dental accepts most major insurance plans and the assignment of insurance benefits. Our goal is to maximize your insurance benefits so your out-of-pocket expenses are minimal — our office insurance expert will help you get the maximum reimbursement when you bring your forms and booklets with you.
It’s important to understand that the insurance contract is between you and your insurance company, and dental insurance was not designed to pay for all dental care. Treatment recommended by our doctors is based on your oral health needs — not on what your insurance company will pay. As a courtesy, we gladly submit your insurance claim to your carrier, and we can check with your provider to find out what your plan covers.
If your insurance information isn’t readily available, you may either wait until coverage is clarified or pay upfront and be reimbursed. Please note that due to privacy restrictions, some insurers won’t disclose plan information to dental offices — in these cases, the patient or guarantor is responsible for the full cost of treatment. Likewise, if for some unforeseen reason your insurance carrier has denied or not made payment within 60 days, the patient or guarantor is responsible for the balance in full.
Co-payments are due in full at the time of service. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Interac, and cash. We do not accept personal cheques.

We’ve partnered with Dentalcard to offer convenient monthly payments to qualified applicants. Finance a portion or the entire cost — approval generally takes 2–24 hours.
